An area of 16 acres assigned from an overall of 120 acres larger master plan which is almost fully utilized for other garment related manufacturing processes. We were tasked to design a Denim plant from Cut to Pack including a very large washing Plant. Plot is a irregular L shaped land which is prone to flooding. The Master plan for this Denim plant has a 25’ ring road for fire safety and minor services only and functions are from the front of the land.
CONCEPT
All buildings revolve around a large landscaped central courtyard garden. The Process flow and movement of garment has been very efficiently designed where there is minimum or no inter crossing where the movement is in a ring form around the courtyard. All people movement is also around the courtyard. We were assigned to design the architectural and complete Industrial Engineering services.
